As this year's Race Chairman, I'd like to congratulate all the American teams on their efforts at the 2009 IKC in Copenhagen.  Jon Perkins came close to being the first American to win the IKC in Copenhagen but alas, he was just shy bringing home coveted prize.  What is more impressive is not only Jon but nearly all the American teams were deep in the first half of the regatta.  We came back strong and posted the following results.  Congratulations to all of our teams for their efforts.  The winner this year is Kim-Brun Petersen who unseated last year's champ Lars Gottfredsen.  Full results can be obtained on the Danish Knarr website.  http://www.knarr.dk/IKC2009/IKC2009index.htm
